Light My Fire by Dee DelaRocka tells the story of a divorce and her hunky next door neighbor, who is also a fireman.
Off Duty by Gia Blue is a steamy tale about a woman and her step brother, who’s also a cop. One day, repressed desire comes bursting out….
Voluptuous is a short story collection featuring lesbian erotica. It’s very good.
First Taste by Paisley Smith is a lesbian romance … primarily focused on sex! To women reunite while planing their high school reunion. After a bout with strap on, they realize that each other’s true love and plan to live happily ever after. As far as Kindle goes, it’s free. So, you can’t beat the price.
Buzzkill moment here. Normally, on this Tumblr blog, I just want to add a bit of text, linkage, and whatnot to some racy and filthy reads. I don’t like being an asshole posting negative comments about other people’s books. However, I really didn’t like this. It surprised me, because the author has written another book that I did kind-of enjoy. Actually, I enjoyed it enough to trust them and buy this one without reading the Kindle sample first. hell, only $0.99 was on the line anyway. But the writing was just bad — not on grammar or proofreading, but stylistically awful. Don’t believe me? Download this book and count the amount of needlessly repeated words (Like “smoke”) in the opening paragraphs. Had I read the sample first, I would have never plunked down the $1 price of admission.
I tend to think people buy erotica because they want to get their freak on and indulge in sexual fantasy. Bad writing just pulls the reader out that.
Rapunzel by Selena Kitt is another one of her attempts to write sexual versions of fairy tales. This was enjoyable, but it didn’t strike me as close to the story as some of her others, like Alice. Also, I bought this when it was priced 1$. Now it’s more expensive.
Alice by Selena Kitt puts Alice in Wonderland through the ropes. Literally. It’s a kinky BSDM version of the Lewis Carroll tale.
The Cop Next Door by Gia Blue is about a young woman who’s turned on by the off duty policeman who lives next door. She feigns a break-in so he will come over and frisk her, as well as other naughty things.
Bang! Bang! by Rachel Boyeln features a foursome, as a woman takes on minor rock stars, on their tour bus, she’s never heard of.
